About Allison Cohen, CPA

Allison's background spans audit, tax, and private accounting across a diverse range of industries, giving her firsthand experience identifying both the pitfalls and the strengths of accounting department processes. She knows there's no one-size-fits-all approach, and every business has its own challenges and limitations.

Her passion is supporting small businesses in streamlining their accounting while working within the real-world constraints those businesses face. She genuinely enjoys the process of creating accurate financial statements, taking the detailed work of journal entries and reconciliations and turning them into meaningful reports that drive better business decisions.

Outside of work, Allison loves exploring the Boise foothills by foot or bike and traveling with her family. She has been married for over 20 years and has two spirited kids who keep her on her toes.
